dotoo for agents
Bring your challenges into the conversation.
If you plan your day by talking to your agent, you shouldn't have to explain from scratch what you have going on. It connects to dotoo over MCP with your permission, or through the API with a token, checks your challenges and tells you which day you're on. And if you ask, it marks your day for you, labelled «via agent».
What do I have on my plate today?
Your agent
You have two challenges going in dotoo:
-
Read 20 minutes a day Due today -
Write three lines a day Due today
Both are waiting for today's step. Mark it in dotoo once it's done.
dotoo API
What your agent looks up and does for you.
The same operations the reference covers. Your agent asks, dotoo answers with what's in your account, and the conversation picks up where it was.
How to connect
Three steps to your first question.
-
1
Add dotoo
In your agent, add a remote MCP server with the address app.do-too.com/mcp.
-
2
Give permission
Give your agent the permissions you see fit.
-
3
Ask
Your agent looks up your challenges and, if you ask, acts for you.
You're in charge
Your agent sees what's yours, and only for as long as you want.
The limits don't depend on your agent: dotoo checks them on every request.
- Personal Each connection belongs to your account and is useless for any other.
- Permissions by topic Over MCP or the API, each action needs its own permission: reading your challenges doesn't let it write to them, and spending dotoos is separate.
- It expires Every access has an end date. There's no such thing as a forever one.
- Revocable Disconnect the app in your dotoo settings, or ask us to cut your token off: it stops working from that moment.
- No email Your account status doesn't include your email or your credentials.
- Nothing that isn't yours A challenge you're not in answers as if it didn't exist.
Questions
Worth knowing first.
Can my agent mark my day for me?
Yes, photo challenges included, if you give it the photo. Your check-in shows on the challenge labelled «via agent», so the group knows your agent marked it, and the photo is reviewed just like when you upload it.
Does it see what my group writes?
Yes: it can read a challenge's or a shared room's chat and, if you give it write permission, send a message, react, delete one of its own or flag someone else's. It doesn't mark the chat as read for you.
Does it work with my agent?
If it supports remote MCP servers with OAuth, it connects to app.do-too.com/mcp and asks for your permission in dotoo. If it only supports an Authorization header, or you want the API, ask for a personal token.
How do I cut it off?
In dotoo, Settings → Connected apps → Disconnect: from that moment it can't get in and would have to ask your permission again. A personal token expires on its date; to cut it off sooner, write to us and we'll revoke it.
Do I have to request access?
Not for MCP: your dotoo account is enough. The API token is still granted by hand, one account at a time, by email from "Request access".
